1 Account 4 Phones Can Now Be Tested By WhatsApp Beta Users For Android

Surely many people want 1 WhatsApp account that can be used on many devices like Telegram. WhatsApp has been trying to bring this feature for the past few months. Even earlier they introduced the Linked Devices feature for use on the web version.

The advantage of this linked device is that after scanning the QR code, the main device no longer needs Internet access or even if the device dies, WhatsApp Web can still be used.

In WhatsApp beta update version 2.23.8.2, Meta has expanded this Linked Device feature to be used on other Android devices as well. This means you only need 1 account and the same account can be active on 4 different devices. Previously this feature was tested on Android tablets only.

Here's how to use it;

Download WhatsApp Beta APK here.

Select the language and press the three dot settings above the tip of the application.

Select Link on existing account.

Scan the QR code and wait for “Loading your chat”

With this beta test you can use WhatsApp on iPhone as the primary device. Then use WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp Desktop as the second device and you can link your WhatsApp account on two other Android devices.

Interestingly after I tested this feature, notifications were received simultaneously. WhatsApp Call either voice or video also works very well. WhatsApp settings can also be used as usual. It's just that you can't use this feature between iPhone and iPad or iPhone and iPhone. If your iPad you need to use Safari for the web version. Android and Android have no problem either. Backup chat if iOS only primary device can do it.
