Last year, Acer introduced the Acer Swift X series of laptops which showed that the series of thin and light computers come with a combination of CPU and graphics card that are usually shown in larger laptop designs.
Recently, the company has shown the Acer Swift X 16 laptop, which is a thin and light class laptop that houses a combination of AMD and NVIDIA CPU and GPU that promises unmatched productivity and leisure performance in this class.
Acer Swift X 16 comes with a 16-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3.2K ((3200 x 2000), a refresh rate of 120Hz and also a brightness value of 500 nits which this display also supports DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500.
In terms of internal components, the Acer Swift X 16 is powered by CPU options up to AMD Ryzen 9 7940H with 16GB LPDDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. In terms of graphics card offerings, this laptop comes with a combination of AMD Radeon 780M and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics cards that are powerful enough to edit high-resolution videos or run computer games at Full HD resolution and medium settings without any problems.
What is even more interesting is that this Acer Swift X 16 also comes with a thin design with a maximum thickness of 17.9mm and a weight of only 1.9kg, making it a laptop that is not only powerful, but also easy to carry anywhere.
This laptop is also loaded with a number of support in terms of plugs with two USB Type-C plugs, an HDMI 2.1 plug, WiFi 6E support and also the use of a login system using Windows Hello through a fingerprint scanner and also a face scan through the camera.
Acer also says that the TwinAir Swift X 16 cooling system has been updated so that it can draw in 36 percent more air to cool these powerful components.
Acer says that the Acer Swift X 16 laptop will go on sale in select markets around July at a starting price of $1299. For now it is not known yet when it will arrive in the local market.
