Adobe Premiere Pro Now Supports Text-Based Editing

Editing videos is a challenging task. The best footage needs to be cut and needs every minute watched by an editor. The longer the video, the more difficult it is to find the video you want to edit. Adobe announced some interesting features in Premiere Pro that will make the editing process even easier. Using Adobe Sensei technology, editing in Premiere Pro can now be done by simply entering text in the software.

Premiere Pro automatically generates a transcript based on the audio in the video you want to use. This text can then be accessed by the user to find the dialogue needed for editing. Later this text can be exported as a transcript or subtitle file for a video on YouTube for example.

In addition, the color tone mapping feature is also introduced. HDR and SDR color tones can be equalized in the same video project. Popular HDR formats such as iPhone HLG and Sony S-Log are supported. For those who often lose work if the software is interrupted, Premiere Pro now has a feature to save work in the background of any backup without interrupting the work in progress. The auto color tone feature is available now while the other features we mentioned above will only be available in May.
