Apple May Not Show AR Reality Pro Headset At WWDC

Is there or not? This is the question about whether Apple will show the AR Reality Pro headset at the WWDC event that takes place on June 6. The mystery will only be unraveled on that day but according to Ming-Chi Kuo this may not happen.

In his latest message shared yesterday, Kuo said Reality Pro will not appear at WWDC but instead be postponed to September when the iPhone 15 series will be launched later. According to Kuo, the delay was due to a lack of confidence that this AR headset would receive the same reaction as the iPhone when it was first shown.

He added that the sales target was also reduced to around 200-300 thousand compared to the original target of 500,000 units. This is because the selling price is expected to be around $3000 apiece making it too expensive. Kuo's prediction is in line with the New York Post's report that there are Apple employees who are also less confident about Reality Pro's capabilities.
