Arm Wants To Develop Its Own Semiconductor In Demonstrating Product Capabilities

 Arm, which is already famous for offering chip designs for other manufacturers, is now reported to be trying to produce their own semiconductors.

This effort is said to be part of a way to demonstrate the capabilities of their products - as well as attract new customers for Arm's products and services.

Arm has no plans to sell the semiconductor, and for now it's only for prototyping purposes.

With the production of its own semiconductors, it will allow Arm to demonstrate the capabilities of their designed and manufactured chips for a variety of devices, including smartphones, laptops, and other electronic equipment.

Currently, there are a number of manufacturers using Arm-designed chips, including Qualcomm and Samsung. In fact, recently, Intel has announced a collaboration with Arm in producing chips using Arm technology through the Intel factory.
