Artifact News App Can Now Provide Summaries In Gen Z Or Emoji Format

Artifact, a news reading application from the developers of Instagram, is now more fun to use. It further encourages people to read the latest news in a fun way.

The latest update is to include an artificial intelligence feature that can summarize articles. What makes this Artifact artificial intelligence feature interesting is that summaries can be generated in several different formats.

First is a simple summary if you are too lazy to read the full article. Then there is the option of Explain Like I'm Five which summarizes the news for children's understanding, summarizes in the form of emojis, summarizes in the form of poetry and also in a language that Gen Z can understand.

To use it is also easy where the user only needs to open an article and press the Aa icon. There select Summarize and there will be a black box displayed above the article. Press the three dots in this black box to select the preferred summary format.

Artifact for now is still free to use but the content is limited to English. If you want to read the latest articles and news in Malay you can download an application like Sarwa which also displays news summaries.
