Asus ROG Ally May Be Steam Deck's Long-awaited Competitor

The Steam Deck is a powerful portable console that is even better than the Nintendo Switch because it can play PC high graphics games on the go. But the sale of this device is limited in selected countries and it is difficult for people to buy it.

Asus recently announced the ROG Ally as a competitor to the Steam Deck. Although this announcement was made on April 1st, it is most likely not a fake product as they included a link to Best Buy to sign up to receive pre-order notifications.

ROG Ally uses an FHD screen, powered by Asus' own "fastest" AMD chip and runs Windows 11. This mobile console uses a dual-fan design and has built-in controls that include analog buttons, D-pad, ABXY, shoulder buttons and some other additional buttons.

According to Asus (if true) ROG Ally also supports connection to the ROG XG Mobile eGPU while the console is charging while connected to a television for a higher performance experience and a satisfying gaming session.

For now it is still uncertain when Asus will announce the full specifications and more details about the ROG Ally. With the popular Asus ROG Phone device in Malaysia, this ROG Ally might be the best Steam Deck alternative if the selling price is right. Let's wait together.
