Baidu is now filing a lawsuit against Apple and several related developers, or offering fake apps like the Ernie app developed by Baidu, through the App Store.
For information, Baidu has previously announced its own ChatGPT-like chatbot application offering, named Ernie. It is still offered on a limited basis, and there is no official app for it.
Because there were a number of fake offerings using branding more or less the same as Ernie's, Baidu filed the suit in Beijing.
