TikTok is under investigation in the United States for allegedly spying on behalf of China. Huawei, and DJI began to be included in the list of entities for the same reason. The trade war on China is being escalated by the U.S. Now it's China's turn to do the same to U.S.-owned companies.
The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) issued a statement that it will begin a cyber security investigation on Micron to see the company's risk to national security. The list of Micron products that will be investigated is not listed by the CAC. Micron has issued a statement that it will cooperate with the CAC throughout the investigation period. China is one of Micron's most important market countries with 11% of their products being sold in that country.
