In addition to Twitter Blue as a subscription to get a blue mark and interesting features, Twitter also has another service called Subscription. Previously it was called Super Follows where Twitter users could subscribe to selected Twitter accounts such as celebrities or income generating influencers.
Through this subscription, accounts that use it can offer exclusive content such as special tiapana, videos and more to paying followers.
Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, also activated this feature on his account. In a recent tweet he revealed that there are more than 24,700 Twitter users who have subscribed to his account. In Malaysia, the subscription price is RM19.90 on iOS and RM18.99 on Android. Meaning Musk generates around RM491,530 every month.
