Yesterday like Thanos, the legacy blue smear began to be deleted on user accounts that do not subscribe to Twitter Blue. Thousands of celebrities are now difficult to distinguish their identity from people who disguise themselves overnight. Even if they are famous and rich enough, this blue smear remains because their Twitter Blue subscription was personally paid for by Elon Musk.
Elon Musk confirmed it in a tweet sent this morning that he personally paid for Blue subscriptions for three celebrities. The three are basketball player Lebron James, writer Stephen King and actor William Shatner. James previously insisted he would not subscribe even though he is a billionaire who owns Liverpool. Shatner, on the other hand, asked that the blue color be kept for him because he has been using Twitter for a long time.
For other Twitter Blue users, subscriptions for this service are still offered at a price starting at RM35 per month.
