The FBI in the United States is now issuing warnings and reminders to the public, not to use phone charging stations offered in public places. This is because there are irresponsible parties who use the location in question to include malware into the user's device.
Through the warning issued, it is stated that irresponsible parties are using free device chargers and USB ports to send malware, as well as monitor user devices.
It is advised that users bring their own chargers, including using their own USB cable directly to an electrical outlet.
