Google Meet Now Lets You Close Other Participants' Videos

Google Meet now adds a new feature that many want when making a video call – the ability for users to turn off the video display of another participant in a video call.

This will make it easier to focus in a meeting - especially if a caller includes a distracting background, etc.

Interestingly, Google also stated that participants whose video display is turned off will not be notified.

This new feature is being rolled out gradually to all Google Meet users on web and mobile devices.
