Google One 2TB Customers Can Now Enjoy 1080p Video Calls On Google Meet

Google One is Google's cloud storage subscription service that also offers many exclusive features and functions on other Google services such as Google Photos and Google Meet.

Recently Google One customers who subscribe to 2TB storage and above can enjoy Google Meet video calls with 1080p resolution. Fortunately, it is limited to 720p only. This feature however requires a device that supports a full HD camera such as a webcam such as the Jabra Panacast 20.

Google also stated that this 1080p video call support is limited to two participants only. Then if the device has a limit Google will automatically set the resolution accordingly. The status will be displayed to users if their account supports this 1080p mode and users can also control whether they want to activate it or stay with 720p resolution.

For now this support is only limited to enterprise users and there is no information whether ordinary users will be able to use it or not.
