Grab Launches New Features to Help Ease Tourists in Southeast Asia

Grab is now present with a number of new updates to the application that help facilitate the journey of users when traveling, especially in Southeast Asian countries. Among them is the Traveler Hompage which helps make it easier for tourists to plan their trips better. This means that users can search, study and explore interesting places such as landmarks or food options close to their destination.

Next, the Grab application can also be used in more language options such as Mandarin, Korean and Japanese. This is to make it easier for tourists, especially from China, Korea and Japan, who are considered to be the main group of international tourists visiting the Southeast Asian region. In addition, the ability to translate a menu into English especially for food options in major cities throughout Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand is also included.

At the same time, Grab has also added a currency conversion feature that allows the application to display foreign currency values automatically without having to do manual conversion. However, the two features mentioned earlier have not yet been officially launched, but instead will be available in the second half of this year.

It is even more interesting when Grab also collaborates with several applications such as WeChat, AliPay, Ctrip, Kakao Talk and Booking.com which allows users to access Grab services directly from the application. Through it, users do not need to download the Grab application separately and can continue to make payments through the specified application.

In addition, Grab has also announced a new upgrade for the GrabUnlimited subscription package which now provides attractive discounts for travel at 89 airports throughout Southeast Asia.
