The Wildfire E2 Play has been launched in Africa as another entry-level device from HTC. It comes with a flat screen with a small notch on the front along with a curved back panel. This is combined with a circular physical fingerprint scan for security purposes.
This phone has a 6.82-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 X 1640 pixels and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. Unisoc T606 chip, 8GB RAM memory and 128GB internal storage are also loaded on this phone. The rear panel houses the main quad-camera 48MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP, while the selfie camera is 8MP.
Other specifications include bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, 4600mAh battery with 10W charging and running Android 12. A total of two color options are provided such as blue and black but no selling price has been revealed so far.
