Huawei Nova 11 Series Now Official – Snapdragon 778G 4G Chip And Two-Way Satellite Communication Features

The Huawei Nova 11 series has been officially launched in China today. A total of three models were announced which consisted of Huawei Nova 11, Huawei Nova 11 Pro and Huawei Nova 11 Ultra. All three share a large amount of the same internal hardware but there are still significant differences for a few things.

Starting with the Huawei Nova 11, it uses a kind of flat screen and a hole for the 60MP front-facing camera. The screen is 6.7-inch OLED with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This is also matched with a Snapdragon 778 4G chip and an internal storage option of up to 256GB. Can't be sure about the memory capacity given.

The back panel houses an oval-shaped camera module with a tri-camera system of 50MP + 8MP + 2MP. The included 4500mAh battery also supports a 66W fast charging system. The phone also comes with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and supports bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

Next is the Huawei Nova 11 Pro which is equipped with a curved body on the front and back. This is joined by a hole-punch screen with dual 60MP + 8MP selfie cameras. Next, a fingerprint scanning system on the screen is also provided for security purposes.

The Snapdragon 778G 4G chip is used as the mainstay of the device. This is combined with storage of up to 512GB, but the memory capacity is not disclosed. The main camera consists of 50MP + 8MP + 2MP and a 4500mAh battery that supports a 100W fast charging system.

It's more interesting about the pro variant when the leather-based back panel is used. This is different from the standard variant which is decorated with a glossy back panel like the previous generation.

Last but not least is the Huawei Nova 11 Ultra. If followed, this is the first time Huawei has introduced an Ultra variant for the Nova smart device range. Much of the internal hardware is the same as the pro variant, where a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is used on the device.

This is paired with a Snapdragon 778 4GB chip and internal storage of up to 512GB. Memory options are again undisclosed. Meanwhile, the battery is 4500mAh which also supports 100W fast charging.

The main camera configuration consists of 50MP + 8MP + 2MP but the advantage of the device lies in the ability to change the aperture between f/4.0 and up to f/1.4. This phone also supports a phone call system using satellite. This means that messages can be sent using satellites if there is no cellular network or WiFi.

The selling price of the Nova 11 starts at RMB2499 (~RM1607), while the Nova 11 Pro starts at RMB3499 (~RM2250). Next, the Nova 11 Ultra is offered starting at RMB4449 (~RM2861). No information on availability for global markets is known so far.
