Income For Delivery Of Goods Or Food Using Motorcycle Will Be Regulated By APAD

The government has now announced that the income of riders of goods or food delivery services using motorbikes, also known as p-hailing, will be regulated by APAD (Land Public Transport Agency).

This is as part of an effort to overcome the issue of manipulation or suppression of employee income by service providers.

Today, there are a number of delivery service providers that have p-hailing employees under them, including FoodPanda and GrabFood.

This matter is also in line with the Land Public Transport (Amendment) Bill 2023 which was passed today in the National Assembly.
