A few weeks ago CAD drawings for the iPhone 15 Pro leaked in China showing a strange side button on the left side in the same position as the mute button of the previous device. There are various speculations as to why this big bump exists only on the 15 Pro model. But according to MacRumors, this is because it is a special multi-function button.
iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max owners can program this button to mute the device, turn on the flashlight, quickly launch the camera, quickly launch apps, take screenshots and more. In short, this multi-function button is similar to the one on the Xperia Pro-I.
On Android devices there are several manufacturers who have produced devices with additional side buttons and also pressure sensors such as the HTC U11 for example. On iPhone devices, the button configuration hasn't changed much since before. But based on CAD drawings, the buttons on the 15 Pro series will undergo major changes just like the introduction of Dynamic Island last year.
