KKD Considers Combining NACSA AND CSM In Efforts To Strengthen Cyber Security

 

In an effort to further strengthen cyber security, the Ministry of Communications and Digital is currently discussing merging the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) and CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM).

This step is also expected to bring the establishment of the Malaysian Cyber Security Commission to the next phase.

For now, the process of in-depth discussion is being done for the merger of these two entities.

With the rapidly growing digital arena, cyber security issues are often overlooked by many, and the establishment of the Malaysian Cyber Security Commission is expected to address a number of issues, including data management and others.
