MacBook Pro 14″ And 16″ Will Not Use OLED Screens Until 2026

 


Apple is reportedly slowly looking to use OLED screens on all of their products. Among those previously reported are iPads and MacBooks which are said to start being used in 2024.


The latest report states that the Apple MacBook Pro 14″ and 16″ will not use OLED screens until 2026. This information from Reuters tells that Samsung Display has invested as much as 4.1 trillion won which is around RM13,749,746,376 for the production of OLED panels in 2026 in Asan, Korea South


This OLED panel is said to be for tablets and computers. Although Reuters did not say what products these panels will be used on, Ross Young claims they will be for the 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro. As we previously reported, the MacBook Air may be the first MacBook with an OLED panel as an experiment to see user reactions and feedback.
