The launch of the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ flagship chip is confirmed to take place on May 10 in China. It's an upgrade to the Dimensity 9200 chip used in devices like the Vivo X90.
The chip has yet to be officially launched but the iQOO Neo 8 Pro has already been confirmed as the first device to use it after its benchmark scores leaked onto the web. The Dimensity 9200+ will retain an eight-core CPU configuration with 1x Cortex X3 cores, 3x Cortex A715 cores and 4x Cortex A510 cores paired with an Immortalis G715 MC11 GPU. It will compete with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip which is currently the chip of choice for 2023 Android flagship devices.
