With the launch of their latest Surface devices, Microsoft has also introduced their latest dock, the Microsoft Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock which comes with a large number of plugs for users who need additional connections for different accessories.
What is interesting about this latest dock is that it uses a USB Type-C connection and no longer uses a Surface Connect connection like previous docks. It connects directly to your Surface device's Thunderbolt 4 plug to take advantage of full functionality such as 40Gbps data transfer rates as well as 96W charging.
