MouthPad^ Is A Mouse Placed In The Mouth

A mouse is an input device for computers that has been around since 1963 and was invented by Douglas Engelbart. But it requires an individual to have a palm to use it. With computers and smart devices now becoming a daily necessity, input devices that meet the needs of different individuals need to be developed. MouthPad^ is a mouse that fits inside the mouth.

It has a sensor on the side of the mouth that is pressed to give instructions to the device it is tethered to. MouthPad^ works via bluetooth so it can be used on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS devices. It weighs only 7.5 grams and is made of materials commonly used for dental purposes to ensure comfort.

MouthPad^ is designed for PWDs who have issues using their hands. Each MouthPad^ is produced using 3D printing techniques. At this time the sale price has not been announced as it has not yet been sold publicly.
