Now, Just Less Than 3% Of News Linked Shares Are Seen By Users On Facebook

 


According to the latest report shared by Meta focusing on news links shared on Facebook, it was found that less than 3% of the sharing in the form of news links on Facebook was seen by users on NewsFeed.


This also shows the lack of importance given by Facebook to sharing content in the form of links.


In line with this data as well, Facebook stated that they have less interest in paying content publishers, because the numbers and impact provided by sharing in the form of links are too small on the platform.


Before this itself, Facebook has started to change the algorithm on their platform, by reducing the display of news or links, instead focusing on the sharing of content from friends and family members.
