The Minister is now busy making sure that the price of Internet subscription in Malaysia is cheaper than the offer that telecommunication companies are giving now. Through it the Unity Package for fixed broadband plans is announced.
Unifi offers Unifi Home 30Mbps at a price of RM69 per month, YTL with 30Mbps Unlimited at the same price and TIME will be present with a MyKabel plan with a speed of 100Mbps also at a price of RM69 per month.
The latest TIME officially announced MyKabel plans with speeds of 100Mbps, 500Mbps and 1Gbps. If you do not live in PPR and PA buildings, the subscription price of these two plans is RM99, RM139 and RM199 per month. Specially for MyKabel and residents in PPR and PA, this subscription price receives a discount of RM30 and RM20.
This means you can get a 100Mbps plan for RM69, a 500Mbps plan for RM119 and a 1Gbps plan for RM179. Interestingly, if you already live in a listed PPR and PA house and have subscribed to TIME, you are eligible to receive this discount.
This MyKabel plan is eligible for those who live in the selected People's Housing Program (PPR) provided that registration is done from March to December 2023. Each plan has a 24-month contract. Here is a list of locations that support this plan;
