Ookla has now released its fixed-line broadband report for the first quarter of 2023, showing that TIME ranks at the top of the fixed-line bandwidth offering in various aspects.
TIME is seen to offer the highest median speed rate, at a speed of 107.56Mbps, ahead of Maxis and TM (Unifi). The median speed offered by Maxis is around 90.92Mbps, while TM is at 87.39Mbps.
In addition, TIME's latency is also the lowest - ie 9ms, compared to Maxis at 13ms and TM at 16ms.
TIME is seen to be more consistent than the other two, with a consistency rate of 88.3% that offers a minimum download rate of 25Mbps and an upload rate of at least 3Mbps. The consistency rate achieved by Maxis is 85.9% while TM is 84.4%.
For the month of March 2023, overall, the median download rate for landline broadband achieved in Malaysia was 93.81Mbps, as well as 51.39Mbps upload, with a latency of 7ms.
