The Oppo Find N2's external screen just got a little more useful after the device received an update today. Through it two previously promised features are finally supported by the device natively. The first feature is a dedicated widget for Spotify. When used music from Spotify can be displayed on the external screen of the device.
The album art is displayed more clearly and larger and the music control buttons can also be accessed without opening the device. With its larger size, this widget is easier to use than the previous ColorOS music player interface.
Next is voice typing support to answer various messaging applications. The audio of the user's voice is automatically converted to text. Applications that can be used with this feature are WhatsApp, Messenger, Messages by Google, Telegram and LINE. Again a new feature allows messages to be replied to without having to open the screen or type with a finger.
