If you're a hardcore PC gamer, and own a computer with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card, specifically the newer GeForce RTX 3000 and RTX 4000 series graphics cards, NVIDIA says you're also more likely to use Ray-Tracing graphics technology to run your favorite computer games.
Recently, NVIDIA has shown quite interesting statistics for those who use these graphics cards. With the GeForce RTX 2000 series, it was shown that as many as 37 percent of graphics card owners of the graphics card series use the RTX-On function for games that support it, and 68 percent of them combine it with DLSS to get a smoother gaming experience.
This percentage increases dramatically when using the much more powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000 and GeForce RTX 4000 graphics cards. With the RTX 3000, 56 percent of the graphics card owners activate the feature for their gaming sessions and 71 percent of the users of the graphics card series combine it with the DLSS 2.0 function.
With the launch of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 graphics card series, as many as 83 percent of the graphics card owners use the Ray-Tracing feature and 79 of these users match it with the DLSS feature for a smoother gaming experience and with a high frame rate.
The slide also shows that when the real-time Ray-Tracing feature was introduced in 2018, only four computer games supported it, and now, with the latest Ray-Tracing technology, more than 400 computer games come with this technology support.
