The giant Predator Helios gaming laptop series by Acer is quite famous for its giant design and housing powerful components that can rival desktop computers.
Recently, Acer Malaysia has announced that two models in this series, namely the Predator Helios 16 and the Predator Helios 18 will come with updated Intel 13th generation Raptor Lake CPU components and also NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 graphics cards inside.
For both models Predator Helios is equipped with an Intel Core i9-13900HX processing chip with DDR5 memory up to 32GB and also SSD PCIe 4.0 storage up to 2TB which is big enough to house their favorite computer games.
In terms of GPU, this Predator Helios comes with a choice of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics cards that can run modern computer games at high resolutions, settings and refresh rates.
Both laptops also come with an IPS display with WQXGA resolution (2560×1600) with a 16:10 display ratio with a 240Hz refresh rate and 500nit brightness value and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut processing.
The cooling system of the Predator Helios has also been refined using the 5th generation Aeroblade cooling fan as well as heat pipes with a square shape, as well as the use of metal insulation materials that help in absorbing heat from the components more effectively.
Acer Malaysia says that pre-orders for these laptops start today through the Acer e-store and also their Shopee page from April 14 until April 30, 2023, and will arrive in the local market around May.
