QuaDream Will Be Shut Down After It Was Proven To Steal Data From Journalists And Politicians

When talking about incidents of hacking and data theft carried out by the government, Israel's name will definitely be mentioned because the government houses two hacking software development companies that are quite famous for such incidents, namely NSO Group and QuaDream.

Microsoft, along with internet watchdog NGO Citizen Lab, has recently released a report linking software developed by QuaDream to a number of device hacking incidents occurring around the world, particularly in the United States and the European Union.

Through these incidents, it has been reported that more than 10 incidents have been verified where the devices of journalists and political opposition parties in particular have been hacked and confidential information in those devices has been stolen using the QuaDream software.

QuaDream has previously developed a malware that can infect devices without requiring input from the device owner. NSO Group, another hacking software development company operating out of Israel also has this capability.

Even so, QuaDream seems to be facing problems of their own. Surveys from several media outlets show that QuaDream is in the process of going out of business, especially because these incidents have caused their name to be tarnished and no longer be trusted in the world of espionage.

All QuaDream employees have reportedly been fired and will be taken to court, while the company's investors are said to be trying to sell the company's intellectual property.
