The launch event in China today saw the introduction of yet another new smartphone with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip. Known as the Realme GT Neo5 SE, the device has a thin body with curved sides. Then it is joined with the front screen with a small hole in the middle.
The screen is 6.74-inches with a resolution of 1.5K with a refresh rate of 144Hz. This is also matched with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip, 8/12/16GB memory and 256GB/1TB internal storage. The battery capacity is 5500mAh which also supports 100W fast charging. According to Realme, the battery can last more than 4 years and not less than 80% level after 1600 charging cycles.
The main camera configuration is 64MP (main) + 8MP (wide-angle) + 2MP (microscope), while the selfie camera is 16MP. Other specifications include bluetooth 5.3 support, NFC and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The selling price of the device starts at RMB2099 (~RM1348) (8GB/256GB) and then increases to RMB2799 (~RM1797) (16GB/1TB).
