Sega Reportedly May Take Over the Company Behind Angry Birds at a Value of Up to $1 Billion


 Sega, one of the popular game manufacturers based in Japan and known for games like Sonic, is now reportedly in talks to take over Rovio.


Rovio is a game company best known for the Angry Birds series. Although in the beginning the Angry Birds series stole many mobile device users, but lately Rovio is facing challenges in continuing the success and games that have high user numbers.


Previously, Rovio was in talks with Playtika for a takeover, but it stopped last March without any transaction taking place.


Now, it is said that Sega is in talks to take over Rovio at a value of up to $1 billion.


For now, both parties have not issued an official comment regarding this matter.
