Sony Launches New 27-Inch 3D Glasses-Free Screen With 4K Resolution

In 2020 the Sony Spatial Reality Display was launched with it being a monitor that displays 3D content without the need to wear glasses. It is 15.6″ with a 4K resolution. Now Sony launched the new Sony Spatial Reality Display ELF-SR2 with a 27″ screen and 4K resolution.

With a bigger screen 3D content can be seen in more detail. Like previous models, in front of the ELF-SR2 there is a camera that tracks the user's head so that the orientation of the 3D model on the screen will provide a realistic 3D effect without special glasses. It still has a triangular base placed at an angle of 45 degrees. Connection is done via USB-C or HDMI 2.0.

Sony includes Unity and Unreal Engine software support to make it easier for video game or special effects developers to work with the ELF-SR2. The selling price of the Sony Spatial Reality Display ELF-SR2 is $5,000 (~RM22,000) apiece.
