SpaceX Starship Explodes During Orbital Launch Test

Starship will be the spacecraft that will take SpaceX astronauts to the moon and Mars. After several tests have been carried out in the earth's atmosphere, now comes the test to launch it into space. A while ago, the first Starship launch to orbit the earth was successfully carried out from Boca Chica, Texas using a Super Heavy rocket. However, after passing through the first stage, the rocket ran into problems and broke apart before the Starship could separate and ignite the six engines of the second stage.

Despite failing to meet mission targets, SpaceX says today's test data will be useful for the next launch. In Starship's sub-orbital test last year, it suffered several failures before successfully re-landing vertically to the surface of the earth.

The Super Heavy rocket equipped with 33 Raptor engines is the most powerful rocket ever produced by in the history of aerospace. which provides nearly twice the thrust of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket for the Artemis Mission. In addition to being the most powerful rocket, the Starship and Super Heavy systems are also the tallest rockets in the world, reaching 119 meters.

Like the Artemis Mission, SpaceX also wants to send a group of astronauts around the moon in the near future. The Dear Moon mission, which aims to launch this year, will take tycoon Yusaku Maezawa and seven other crew members around the moon in a Starship.
