Apple has focused on the use of widgets since iOS 14 was introduced. This widget can be used on the main screen or even on the Today View page. The latest version allows widgets to be used on the lock screen.
The latest widget for iPhone screen lock is produced by Spotify. There is nothing special about this new Spotify widget other than quick access to open this music streaming app.
When the user uses this widget, once you press and Face ID or Touch ID confirms the identity of the user, the Spotify application will continue to open. This feature is only limited to iOS 16 users and to those who have updated to the latest version of the app.
Spotify also reminds users if the music is ready to play, directly press the name of the artist and song on the media player on the lock screen to open the Spotify application smoothly. Also don't forget that Spotify is ready to offer two widgets for use on Today View or the main screen.
