Spotify Live Service Discontinued

During the pandemic the most viral app is Clubhouse because people miss interacting and talking while stuck at home. Clubhouse's popularity has led to other platforms also offering live streaming features in audio form. Post-pandemic, the popularity of apps like this has dropped dramatically. Today the Spotify Live service has been discontinued according to a report by Music Ally.

Spotify Live allows content producers to do live audio broadcasts similar to radio. Previously it used the name Spotify Greenroom. Spotify took over Locker Room to provide live streaming features on their platform. At your level some original shows are published to support Spotify Live and add users who want to have their own "radio" show.

Spotify Live will officially be discontinued on April 30. Despite the discontinuation, Spotify said they are still interested in producing live content in other formats in the future.
