Stability AI Introduces Open Source Language Model (LLM) - StableLM

Stability AI is ready to make a name for itself through its Stable Diffusion offering for image generation through the use of intelligence. Most recently, in continuing to invest in the arena of artificial intelligence, they now also introduce their own large language model in the form of open source, called StableLM.

For now, StableLM is offered in alpha form on GitHub. This model combines several existing models, including being trained using datasets from websites such as Wikipedia and several others. It now includes 3B and 7B parameter offerings, in addition to models with 15B and 30B to be offered soon.

Using StableLM, it can be used to generate textual responses to various events, as well as being used to do some simple programming.

Stability AI states that the vernacular model will be one of the main pillars of the digital economy, and with this offering they want to give voice and freedom to all.

For those of you who are interested, you can check out StableLM's offering on HuggingFace, or also check out the source code on GitHub today.
