Of late, we can see that a number of brands have started introducing laptops with premium specifications that come with a more wallet-friendly price tag.

At the recent Acer GPC event, Acer has shown a laptop that comes with powerful class specifications that comes with a price tag that is not as expensive as a premium class laptop, namely the Predator Helios 16 Neo.

This latest laptop comes with a choice of 16-inch IPS screen display with WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution with 165Hz refresh rate or WUXGA (1920×1200) with the same refresh rate. This display also comes with support for NVIDIA G-SYNC technology which ensures that the displayed graphics do not suffer from graphics detection issues.

In terms of CPU, the Predator Helios 16 Neo comes with a choice of 13th generation Intel Core HX CPU, up to 32GB DDR5 memory and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. In terms of GPU offerings, users will be able to choose to get a model with a graphics card option up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 which is powerful enough to run modern games with the display available.

The Predator Helios 16 Neo also comes with a cooling system that uses the latest Aeroblade 3D cooling fan to efficiently transfer heat from the internal components to the outside.

Just like the Predator Triton 17X laptop, it also comes with support for technologies like Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6E.

Acer says that the Predator Helios 16 Neo will arrive in international markets, including Malaysia in May. For now, the starting price tag of this laptop is set at $1499 first.
