Simultaneously with Vivo X Flip, Vivo X Fold2 was also launched. It is unique because it is the first foldable screen phone using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The device has a dual screen with an outer screen of 6.56″ AMOLED 120Hz and an inner screen of 8.03″ AMOLED 120Hz. All of this is matched with 12GB RAM LPDDR5X memory, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and a 4800 mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The main camera uses a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. These three main cameras are placed in a round shaped hump.
A 16MP selfie camera is used on the outer screen and another 16MP sensor is also placed on the foldable screen. Both are placed in the camera hole. The V2 chip is used for image and video processing. Like the X90 series, the X Fold2 also uses Zeiss lenses. The operating system used is OriginOS 3 which is based on Android 13.
