WhatsApp today announced one of the features that many users around the world have been waiting for for a long time, which is multi-phone support for a WhatsApp account.
With the introduction of this new feature, it allows users to use the same WhatsApp account on more than one phone – including either Android or iPhone. Currently, this support allows users to use the same WhatsApp account on up to five devices at the same time.
WhatsApp says this new feature is being rolled out gradually to all users worldwide.
To use a WhatsApp account on another phone, you can do it by scanning a QR code on the main phone – much the same as you would on a computer or tablet today.
