ZTE Axon 50 Ultra is another smartphone that has two-way satellite communication capabilities. It launched in China yesterday with messages being able to be sent using satellite if there is no cellular network or WiFi.
In terms of specifications, the Axon 50 Ultra is equipped with a 6.67″ OLED 144Hz screen, powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, LPDDR5X memory, UFS 3.1 storage and a 5000mAh battery with 80W charging support. ZTE also did not share about the size of RAM and storage offered.
The main camera consists of a 64MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle and a 50MP telephoto. There is also no information about the front camera except that it is not of the type under the screen. The sale price is also still a mystery at the time this article is written.
