At the end of last April, Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 was announced as a gaming computer with fierce performance. The wait for those who want to buy it in Malaysia is over with it being launched for the local market at a price starting at RM4899 apiece.
This laptop comes with a choice of 16-inch IPS screen display with WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution with 165Hz refresh rate or WUXGA (1920×1200) with the same refresh rate. This display also comes with support for NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.
In terms of CPU, the Predator Helios 16 Neo comes with a choice of 13th generation Intel Core HX CPU, up to 32GB DDR5 memory and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. In terms of GPU offerings, users will be able to choose to get a model with a graphics card option up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 which is powerful enough to run modern games with the display available.
The Predator Helios 16 Neo also comes with a cooling system that uses the latest Aeroblade 3D cooling fan to efficiently transfer heat from the components inside to the outside.
Just like the Predator Triton 17X laptop, it also comes with support for technologies like Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6E.
Acer says that the Predator Helios 16 Neo will arrive in Malaysia at a price of RM4899 for the model with Intel Core-i5 and RTX 4050. Meanwhile, for the model with Intel Core-i7 and RTX 4060 it is sold at a price of RM6399.
During the pre-order period 2-8 May 2023, buyers will receive a free gift worth RM900 in the form of a Predator Urban Gaming Backpack V2, a Predator Cestus 33 mouse, a Predator hat and an Acer SuperCare 2 warranty that offers 3 years of protection against damage and theft .
