Apple today made a surprise and announced their video editing software for iPad, which is Final Cut Pro. Apple will offer the Final Cut Pro application for the iPad starting May 23, 2023.
Final Cut Pro for iPad comes with an interface optimized for touchscreens, offering Apple Pencil-based input for sketching. With this move, it simultaneously allows users to use editing software that is already popular on the Mac, now on the iPad.
Final Cut Pro for iPad is offered for users of the 11-inch iPad Pro (Gen 4 and later) or 12.9-inch iPad Pro (Gen 6 and later), and supports the Apple Pencil (Gen2).
Anyway, in terms of offering, Apple offers Final Cut Pro at a subscription price of RM22.90 per month or RM199 per year – unlike the offering for Mac which is charged according to a single purchase.
