Apple Files Trademark For xrOS

What will be the name of the operating system of Apple's next wearable reality device? The answer may be found in the xrOS trademark filed by Apple in New Zealand recently. The use of the xrOS name as the operating system may now be confirmed as it appeared a few months before Apple reportedly showed off their headset at WWDC.

Previously, headsets would use the name Apple Reality Pro with the RealityOS operating system. The fever to produce a connected reality headset still exists at Apple with the hope that it will bring back the interest of the public.

Meta's efforts have yet to show success even after spending tens of billions of dollars. Google has confirmed that an augmented reality device will be shown by October with it being developed in collaboration with Samsung and Qualcomm.
