ASUS Demonstrates Conventional Pinless Power Plug Graphics Card Concept

Computex 2023 has already started since yesterday with NVIDIA and ARM grabbing interesting news slots for this event yesterday. Today we feel it's ASUS' turn to steal the show with the RTX 4000 series graphics card concept that doesn't have conventional power plug pins. Instead this graphics card has an additional part built into the PCB board for power in line with the PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 connection part.

Through this design, the connection of the graphics card to the motherboard is neater without tangled wires. A special slot for PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 and a power slot is also shown on their Z790 TUF Gaming concept motherboard to support this graphics card. According to the WCCFTECH report, the power system through this ASUS slot can offer up to 600W of power.

At this time both plug-inless graphics cards and the motherboards that support them are still concepts.
