ASUS has just officially launched their console-sized ASUS ROG Ally computer, and the console's specs and price tag are now finally official, and the launch information is accurate.

ROG Ally comes with two models powered by a choice of AMD Ryzen Z1 and AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processing chips, where the difference between these two SoCs is seen in the number of cores and power threads offered. The AMD Z1 comes with six cores and 12 threads of Zen 4 power, while the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme offers eight cores and 16 threads of power.

In terms of graphics, the Z1 SoC comes with four RDNA 3 cores, while the Z1 Extreme introduces 12 RDNA 3 cores. In terms of memory and storage offerings, both models also come with 16GB of memory and PCIe 4.0 SSD storage of up to 512GB that can be extended using MicroSD storage.

In terms of display, ROG Ally comes with a 7.0-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate that can be used by certain games. Most of the games that can be played on this console can be played at Full HD resolution and 60FPS refresh rate without any problems.

What is interesting about this console is that it is loaded with the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system that allows it to support a variety of digital game platforms, including Steam, GoG, Epic Games Store, Xbox Store and so on, and users can use the Armory Crate software to access games- the game installed quickly and easily.

Another advantage of this console is its very ergonomic design, and borrows the design of the Xbox controller that is loved by many. For those who like to modify and upgrade built-in components, ASUS ROG Ally also comes with easy access to internal components, where users can change components such as storage and even analog controllers if desired.

Apart from the mobile console, users can also use the ROG XG-Mobile external GPU unit to connect this ROG Ally to a powerful graphics card, and use it as a powerful enough gaming desktop computer.

ASUS says that for certain markets such as the United States, the ROG Ally console will go on sale on June 13 at a price of $599 for the model with the AMD Ryzen Z1 SoC, while the model with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme, it will sell for $699.

It is expected that these two options will also enter the Malaysian market soon, but we are told that they will only go on sale around the third quarter of this year (July, August 2023), where the price tag will also be set later.
