The Computex 2023 event also saw the introduction of the new ASUS ROG Strix XG259QN monitor. It is a gaming monitor with a 24.5-inch LCD screen that also supports a refresh rate of up to 380Hz overclocking. The maximum resolution supported is 1080P (FHD), in addition to passing the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard for more vivid color reproduction.
In the meantime, it also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to avoid the issue of torn graphics during video game sessions. This experience is improved with a combination of ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB SYNC) and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology that also helps ensure a smooth visual display with a response time as low as 0.01ms.
Also included is a DisplayPort 1.4 port, HDMI 2.0, a USB 3.2 port and a 3.5mm audio jack which is enough to meet the needs of various device connections. No sale price has been disclosed at the time of writing this article.
