In another update at the AWS ASEAN Summit event, they also shared about their collaboration with the Malaysian government, in line with their agreement last year to accelerate the growth of cloud computing for the public sector in May 2022.
One of them is collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education in moving the learning management platform for Polytechnics and Community Colleges. The transfer of this learning management platform system includes in terms of online learning content, management and administration of 36 Polytechnics and 105 Community Colleges involving more than 150,000 active users consisting of students and teaching staff.
More than that, there are programs such as AWS Educate and AWS Academy that also enrich Polytechnic and Community College students with knowledge of cloud computing and machine learning, allowing them to also participate in other AWS programs such as AWS DeepRacer which is a miniature lumbar car to test Reinforced Learning.
The implementation of this service and also the development of cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and AWS are seen to be able to drive the digital development of local students, in addition to providing a robust cloud infrastructure that is always available to access throughout the day.
