In order to foster the development and skills of employees, usually employees will go through a training process and also certification. Last year at the AWS Re:Invent 2022 event they announced AWS Industry Quest – Financial Services, which is a cloud service learning program in a more interactive form, focusing on banking services.
A few months after the announcement, today they also announced that the program will be launched for Malaysian users and not limited to users from the banking industry. The program is also open to all AWS users, with an additional USD 29 subscription fee required.
The subscription to AWS Industry Quest: Financial Services is part of the AWS Skill Builder component, which also provides a variety of information and courses to enrich knowledge about their cloud services.
Until now, more and more banks in Malaysia are using AWS, including Bank Islam which chose AWS for its Be U Digital Banking service, and also most recently Al-Rajhi which aims to fully use AWS by 2026.
